Our Story

Jewellery Inspired by Beauty in Imperfection

At Kiooinsitu, we create handmade jewellery that carries meaning, softness, and a connection to natural beauty. Since 2018, our studio in Burgersfort, South Africa has been guided by the belief that every material has a story, and that even when life breaks things open, there is still beauty to be found.

We create using:

• Freshwater pearls in their natural shapes and textures

• Crushed gemstones that reveal beauty within their fragments

• Crushed freshwater pearls transformed into something entirely new

• Polymer clay crafted in small, thoughtful batches

• Stainless steel, chosen for lasting strength and comfort

We create in limited quantities, often one-of-a-kind pieces, sometimes small batches, always with intention. This allows us to slow down, honour each material, and let the design unfold naturally.
